Tesco Mobile is now taking pre-orders for the Samsung Galaxy S6, ahead of its official street date of April 10th.
The carrier is offering the standard version of the Galaxy S6 from £36 per month with no upfront fee. That compares pretty favourably to some of the other price points we've seen from rival carriers.
Monthly allowances are 1000 minutes, 5000 texts and, as part of a double data promotion that runs until May 21st, 2GB of data. 4G and 3G plans are priced identically.
Under the terms of the same double data deal, the Galaxy S6 Edge is up for grabs for £43.50 per month, also with no upfront charge and identical monthly allowances.
The Galaxy S6’s standout specifications take in a 5.1-inch, quad HD superAMOLED screen, an improved, rear-facing 16-megapixel camera and enhanced fingerprint security.
It also offers a super-fast charging mode, addressing the battery life problems that continue to blight smartphones, and supports wireless charging with a peripheral sold separately.
The Galaxy S6 Edge’s spec sheet is identical, except for its radical curved screen that doubles as a secondary display.
