Sony’s Xperia Z4 has tipped up in a new leak, apparently emanating from the tech giant’s own PR team in China.
The renders of the Xperia Z4 show Sony is planning a completely new look for its next top–end device. While it retains similar squared off looks compared to its predecessor, there are changes to the front–facing camera and what appears to be a fingerprint sensor.
Only last week sources close to Sony suggested the Xperia Z4 would not be on shelves until late 2015, most likely in September.
Sony has updated its flagship phone every six months over the past few years, but only revealed a mid–range effort at the recent Mobile World Congress event in Barcelona.
In a separate leak, the @upleaks Twitter feed has posted snaps of a brand new budget handset, the Xperia Cosmos. This phone is thought to have a five megapixel camera up front, designed to take better selfies and take on the latest efforts from Samsung and HTC in the process.
