Instagram is rolling out a fast upload tool to Android users. The freshly added single-upload screen does away with the app's awkward cropping and filtering page altogether, making it easier to share your snaps.
Users have noticed that you are now offered just one page to tweak the filter, brightness and contrast, add a location and tag your pictures before uploading.
Interestingly, it appears that this update is for Android only at the moment. Users need to have the latest version, Instagram 7.3, and even then the new page is only showing up for select users.
The new edition is available via Google Play, however, meaning you can at least get it primed on your device and ready for action.
Sadly, there’s no word on when this update will be out on iOS. But it's unlikely that Instagram's owner Facebook will be too far behind with an Apple–flavoured version.
