Tesco and giffgaff have today joined the ranks of more august carriers offering the iPhone 6S and iPhone 6S Plus for sale, on the day that Apple’s new smartphones finally hit retail.
The iPhone 6S, until now only available on pre-order from the likes of O2 and EE, is now up for grabs from giffgaff £30 upfront, plus £28.54 per month.
That gets you an admittedly pretty paltry monthly allowance of 100MB of data, 100 minutes and 300 texts, though.
With that in mind, we’d probably opt for giffgaff’s £15 per month tariff, which gets you a very welcome 4GB of data and 1,000 minutes per month, as well as unlimited texts.
Tesco Mobile went public with its iPhone 6S pricing weeks ago. But. like giffgaff, it too didn’t offer the phone for pre-order. Presumably because both carriers wanted to make sure they enough stock to be able to fulfil orders today.
Our pick of Tesco’s deals is £42 per month, with no upfront charge. That includes monthly allowances of 5,000 texts, 5,000 minutes and 3GB of data.
