OnePlus has confirmed that it will reveal its third smartphone at a special launch in London on October 29th.
The OnePlus X comes just months after the company unveiled the OnePlus 2 to critical acclaim. However, since then the independent mobile maker has faced issues with getting the device to those who ordered one, with some still awaiting delivery.
While the company has confirmed the launch date, it hasn’t officially handed over details of east specs the phone will feature.
However, a previous leak has pointed to a handset with 5.5–inch screen, 4G, Bluetooth and a 1.9GHz processor. A leaked listing on Amazon’s India site also claims to have more details, including plans for 2GB of RAM and a side touch feature for launching specific apps by tapping the left hand side of the phone.
OnePlus has not revealed details of how its invite system will work for the new phone, but will need to ensure it’s nigh–on perfect if it’s not to have the same issues it suffered with its last launch.
