Microsoft has revealed its latest Nokia–branded handsets. And both tap into the current vogue for retro mobile design.
The Nokia 230 and Nokia 230 Dual SIM are very much of the old–school and team a so-called candy bar form factor with hefty battery life, running to 27 days standby time.
But these aren’t your average dumb phones. There are front and rear facing two-megapixel cameras, which Microsoft reckons are ideal for quick selfies.
The quality won’t be up to the standard of your smartphone, but should be good enough for reeling off quick snaps.
Elsewhere, Microsoft has baked in Facebook and Twitter access, Opera’s mobile browser and Bing Search.
That’s all backed up with a 2.8–inch screen and the option to boost storage up to 32GB with a microSD card.
The Nokia 230 might not win any awards, but if you want a phone that does the basics and won’t conk out after 36 hours, look no further.
