Apple has confirmed it will be holding a special event on March 21st, where it's likely to reveal the latest iPhone, as well as updates to its iPad and Apple Watch ranges.
Invites reading ‘Let Us Loop You In’ were sent out to media yesterday. The event is due to be held on Apple’s campus at 1 Infinite Loop in Cupertino. That suggests it'll be a somewhat smaller affair than the event held to launch the iPhone 6S in San Francisco last year.
Apple is expected to reveal a new four–inch iPhone, dubbed the iPhone SE.
The handset is said to feature improved internal specs such as an A9 processor, as well as support for Apple Pay and Live Photos. 16GB and 64GB versions are said to be in the works.
The company is also thought to be planning a new 9.7–inch iPad. Marketed as another iPad Pro, this is apparently a smaller take on the large screen device of the same name launched last year.
That means support for accessories such as Apple’s Smart Keyboard and its Pencil stylus.
New Apple Watch bands are also set to be revealed, although a fully updated version of Apple’s smartwatch is not thought to be ready for launch.
