Vodafone has confirmed it will be selling Apple’s brand new iPhone SE. And that customers who sign up for a 4G contract will be able to enjoy unlimited data for a limited period in order to get to grips with their new device.
The promotion, Vodafone’s Data Test Drive, will be valid for the first two months of a user's contract, after which point the customer's allowance reverts to a standard data package with a usage cap.
The network has also announced that its Wi–Fi calling service will also work with the iPhone SE, meaning users can make calls in places with zero or patchy reception, such as the London Underground.
Vodafone has confirmed, too, that it will be stocking the new iPad Pro, with price plans for the new tablet and Apple’s latest smartphone to be announced in due course.
Apple revealed the warmly received iPhone SE at a special event on Monday.
The new iPhone features a four inch screen, Apple’s A9 processor, the same 12-megapixel camera as the iPhone 6S and support for Apple Pay. There are 16GB and 64GB versions.
The phone goes on pre–order from Apple on March 24th, before hitting shelves on March 31st.
The 16GB model costs £359 SIM–free, while the 64GB edition rises to £459.
