The LG G5 will go on sale in the UK on April 8th. That's a week later than its debut in South Korea and the US.
The G5 is touted as the world's first modular mobile, thanks to its Friend range of add-ons that slot into the bottom of the handset.
At launch, you'll be able to choose from the Cam Plus add-on, Hi-Fi Plus with B&O Play, 360 VR, 360 CAM, Rolling Bot, Tone Platinum and H3 by B&O Play.
Slot in the Cam Plus, for example, and the phone will be easier to grip as a camera. It also has a toggle switch to launch the camera, a digital-zoom dial, a physical shutter button and button for video recording.
There's no word on how much it, and the other Friends, will cost. They will only be available in "select markets", so we'll have to wait until launch day to see which make it to these shores.
For the handset, LG has given the UX 5.0 graphical user interface a lick of paint. You can see what's new in this video.
The G5 boasts an always-on screen that lets you see key information like the time and notifications at a glance. The display stands 5.3-inches across, with a resolution of 2,560x1,440 pixels (that's a pixel density of 554ppi).
It should be plenty fast, with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 chip inside as well as 4GB of RAM. Storage stands at 32GB, plus up to 200GB extra using a microSD card.
On imaging duties are a 16-megapixel main camera and an 8-megapixel front-facer.
