A newly discovered iOS 10 concept design has detailed what Apple could add to its mobile operating system, with one user showing in detail the key changes it needs to make to majorly improve iOS.
The MacStories iOS 10 concept features a slew of killer features that would all make iOS 10 a far more alluring prospect than the initially glitch-ridden iOS 9.
This includes a much improved iMessage and SMS application, which would allow users to send everything from documents to maps at the press of a button.
This is a feature that rival messaging tools are already exploring and could give Apple’s native app the edge on the likes of WhatsApp and Facebook Messenger.
A Dark Mode is also included in the conceptual software that would allow users to blacken the screen and use iOS 10 as it appears in third-party apps like Tweetbot.
This would tally with Apple’s recent launch of Night Shift, its function for cutting out blue light after dark.
Other items on the site's wish list include a new–look Control Centre with 3D Touch input and changes to iPad multitasking to help make better use of the split screen mode.
It may well be that some of these ideas wind up making the final cut for iOS 10.
The new platform is due to be revealed at Apple’s annual WWDC event, which starts on June 13th in San Francisco.
