The next Samsung Galaxy Note phone will have an iris scanner, according to leaked documents. That means you could unlock the phone just by looking at it.
Leaked screenshots show the security settings page of a Samsung smartphone – one is pictured in Chinese and the other in Korean. They show you can unlock the phone using your fingerprint, PIN, or iris.
This backs up previous rumours that said the next Note would feature an iris scanner. Though it's worth noting they are just rumours for now, so don't take this as concrete evidence.
We're not even sure what the phone will be called. The next iteration in the Note range would be the sixth, yet rumours say Samsung will name it the Galaxy Note 7. This is in order to bring it in line with the firm's Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge products.
Whatever it's called, the handset is rumoured to feature a 5.8-inch curved 2K screen, stylus, and USB-C port for faster charging.
It's expected to launch in August or September, and will likely steal the show at tech fest IFA in Berlin.
