New images of Apple’s forthcoming iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus have emerged, giving us another clear look at devices which are due to launch at the start of September.
The shots show both variants of the handset in gold. The larger iPhone 7 Plus features the dual lens camera set-up which has been much–hyped in recent weeks, while the smaller iPhone 7 has a single lens camera that's larger than that found on the current iPhone 6s.
As per previous leaks, the antenna bands at the rear of the phone have been removed. There’s no angle showing the bottom of each handset, although it’s unlikely there is any evidence of a standard 3.5mm headphone jack.
Apple is set to launch its new smartphones at an event in early September. Rumours suggest the iPhones will be available to preorder on September 9th.
The company has come in for criticism from fans who were expecting this year's phone to be a major improvement from the iPhone 6s.
Instead it seems Apple plans to release a hugely overhauled iPhone range in 2017, to celebrate its bestselling product’s tenth anniversary.
