Nokia has just announced three new smartphones to be released globally in addition to the much-anticipated new-look Nokia 3310.
And although the 3310 undoubtedly stole the show, with promises of Snake, a phenomenal battery life and the iconic Nokia ringtone, the Nokia 6, Nokia 5 and Nokia 3 are not to be overshadowed. The three new Android smartphones are set to offer premium features for budget prices.
The Nokia 6 has already been released in China, and over 1 million excited customers pre-registered for the device, which goes to show that, despite Nokia’s struggles with smartphones over the years, consumers haven’t lost faith with the former mobile giants.
The Nokia 6 is set to retail at €229, while the Nokia 5 will cost €179 and the smaller Nokia 3 will cost just €139.
Despite the budget price tags though, Nokia promises to deliver a lot of phone for your money, with each device coming loaded with Google Assistant and running on the latest version of Android Nougat, with speedy updates promised. Nokia is also working with Google to ensure Nokia users are amongst the first to receive Android updates.
As one might expect with a Nokia phone, the handsets are made to withstand being used by even the clumsiest of smartphone consumers. Each model is built from aluminium with HD gorilla glass displays that have survived extensive durability testing.
