Earlier today, Sony officially unveiled the latest addition to its Xperia range of smartphones, in the shape of the L1.
With a mid-range set of features and an 'accessible price point', the L1 teams a 5.5-inch HD display and an impressive processor with a 13-megapixel camera.
It also comes with a 5-megapixel selfie camera and 16GB of memory, which can be boosted up to 256GB with a microSD card.
Perhaps the most interesting feature, though, is the ‘Smart Cleaner’, which promises to keep the phone fully optimised at all times by automatically removing unused processes and cached data.
This should not only improve the performance of the L1 but could even help the phone to live longer.
The user interface itself will learn from the way you use the phone and will adapt to your everyday needs, with the help of the Xperia Tips, Sony Mobile’s personal assistant.
Xperia Tips will learn your preferences and provide you with handy advice to help you get the most out of your phone.
The Xperia L1 will be available in either black or white, with an additional pink model available in select countries.
Although no prices have been mentioned yet, we expect it'll be up for grabs from about £25 per month from launch.
The Sony Xperia L1 is set to hit shelves late next month.
