The long–awaited Galaxy Note 8 will be available to buy from 15th September, reports suggest, three weeks after it reveals the device at a special event in New York.
A representative from a South Korean mobile phone network, quoted in a report in the company’s home country said: “We are going to sell Galaxy Note 8 starting from the 15th of September. Its price has not been set yet."
It’s not clear if this date will be used internationally or only in Samsung's domestic territory of Korea.
The move puts the Galaxy Note 8 in direct competition with Apple’s iPhone 8, which is expected to launch around the same time.
Samsung has already confirmed that it will show off its new flagship phone on 23rd August.
Leaks point towards the device featuring a dual lens camera and a huge 6.3–inch screen.
Android 7.1, 6GB of RAM and a powerful Qualcomm processor will keep things ticking over.
