Samsung Galaxy S9 demo app launched to entice new users

Samsung has launched a new app aimed at convincing owners of older smartphones to upgrade to the new Galaxy S9 or Galaxy S9 Plus.

The Experience app for Galaxy S9 is available to download now for phones using Android 6.0 or higher.

It shows off how key features such as AR Emoji, which allows you to create emojis using your own face, and the devices’ variable aperture camera work.

Videos show the difference between footage shot using the Galaxy S9 and S9 Plus’s super slow mo mode and those taken using standard video recording tech.

A dedicated spec section breaks down how the Galaxy S9 and S9 Plus stack up, while a peripherals tab shows off all the accessories that work with the new phones.

Samsung launched the Galaxy S9 and S9 Plus at Mobile World Congress last month.

Both devices offer a series of upgrades on last year’s Galaxy S8, with a similar, all–screen design, beefed up internal specs and an improved camera.
