giffgaff has confirmed that it will sell Samsung’s newly-launched Galaxy S9 and S9 Plus, with both devices available to buy up front from the independent network.
It has launched a new registration page where new and existing users can leave their details and be the first to know about stock and availability.
giffgaff says it will sell the Galaxy S9 for £739 up front, with the larger Galaxy S9 Plus costing £869. Both phones come unlocked and with a pay as you go SIM, ready to use with a giffgaff goodybag.
Best of all, those who want the Galaxy S9 or S9 Plus but can’t afford the full price can spread the cost over six, twelve or 24 months. The Galaxy S9 will cost £35.44 a month for two years, with the S9 Plus coming in at £41.90 over the same period.
giffgaff says users will be able to get their hands on a Galaxy S9 or S9 Plus one working day after the devices go on sale on 16th March.
The launch comes just days after giffgaff rejigged its goodybag plans, offering unlimited calls and texts to anyone who pays £10 or more a month. Users can switch between price plans on a month by month basis and cancel any time.
Samsung’s Galaxy S9 and S9 Plus were officially unveiled at Mobile World Congress. Both devices feature variable aperture cameras for taking excellent photos in low and high light, as well as the latest Android software and AR emoji.
