An official render of Samsung’s Galaxy Note 9 has leaked, handset that looks virtually identical to last year’s Galaxy Note 8.
The image, which is said to come from an inside source at the tech giant, shows off plans for a standard–looking Galaxy smartphone. The bezels remain thin at the side, with a ‘chin’ at the bottom and cameras and sensors above the curved edge, 6.3–inch display.
The dimensions of the handset are almost the same too, with an differences set to be confined to the internal specifications.
These are said to include the latest Qualcomm processing tech, alongside a larger battery and improved S Pen.
The bigger focus in recent weeks has been on Samsung’s 2019 range, with rumours flying about the Galaxy S10, with in–screen fingerprint scanner, and Galaxy X, a folding phone due for release at CES next January.
Samsung will reveal the Galaxy Note 9 at a special Unpacked event on 9th August in New York. It’s likely to go on sale later that month, giving it a jump start on Apple’s new iPhones, due in September.
