Dummy models come from tipster who’s revealed previous iPhones ahead of launch.
Apple’s trio of forthcoming iPhones have appeared in a new video, just weeks before they’re due to be officially unveiled.
The dummy units seen in the clip have been secured by renowned tipster Sonny Dickson, who is best known for leaking videos of the colourful iPhone 5c weeks before it launched back in 2013.
The seven-minute YouTube video shows the three models in all their glory.
There’s the basic upgrade to the current iPhone X, which is said to come with a snappier A12 processor to back up its TruDepth camera, Face ID smarts and dual camera; the iPhone X Plus which packs a 6.5–inch screen; and the iPhone 9, also known as the LCD iPhone X, which packs a single lens camera and LCD display.
The latter has caused the biggest stir among tech fans, with analysts claiming it will be as much as £300 cheaper than the iPhone X, which costs £1,000 to buy off-contract.
A SIM free starting point of £700 means it would be a lot cheaper on contract, too.
While the clip itself doesn’t reveal any new specs, it does give us the best look yet at what to expect next month.
Apple is rumoured to be holding an iPhone launch event on 12th September, with the phones going on sale on 21st September.
