Google has sent out invites to media for a special ‘Made By Google’ event on 9th October in New York, when it is due to unveil its new Pixel 3 and Pixel 3 XL smartphones.
While the company does not make explicit reference to the phones themselves, the invite features the line ‘I <3 NY’, the number hardly doing much to suppress the fact it will have its latest devices on show.
Not sure you want to wait until October to find out more? Here's everything we know about the Pixel 3 so far.
The announcement backs up a report last month that said Google would hold a 9th October event, five days after it was initially expected to take place.
Google has seen its new handsets be the subject of a series of major leaks, leaving the search giant little to reveal next month.
The larger Pixel 3 XL has been pictured in public and features a notch design, as well as a single lens rear camera, dual lens selfie camera, fast charger bundled in the box and a new Pixel Imprint feature, essentially a rejigged fingerprint scanner.
The smaller Pixel 3 is expected to drop the notch and look broadly the same as last year’s critically lauded Pixel 2.
