Samsung is priming a white model of its well received Galaxy Note 9, with a matching stylus, it has been claimed.
The Korean tech giant is reportedly plotting the release of the handset in Taiwan on 23rd November.
It has yet to give official confirmation, with no word on when it will land in Europe or the United States.
Such a move makes sense. With Apple’s new iPhone XS and iPhone XR grabbing headlines and Huawei’s Mate 20 leading the Android line, Samsung needs something new to convince consumers to upgrade ahead of Christmas.
The Galaxy Note 9 won plaudits on its release for its superb dual lens camera and revamped bundled S–Pen stylus.
Samsung has yet to announce when the device will be getting Android Pie, however.
It has started a testing programme for its new One UI, backed up by Android Pie, on the Galaxy S9 and S9 Plus.
Pricing is likely to be the same as existing models, with a 512GB model currently costing £999 on Amazon.
