Google has bestowed some of its newest camera features to its older Pixel handsets. The original Pixel and Pixel 2 are getting a feature called Playground Stickers, which was previously exclusive to the newer Pixel 3.

Playground Stickers lets users add augmented reality graphics, items and characters to their photos. You can superimpose all manner of virtual items, including lettering, planes, dogs and animated objects.

Stuck for inspiration? The feature will make smart suggestions based on what it sees in the frame. It can detect objects like tables, chairs, pets and basketball courts too, and make suggestions.

The feature was previously known as AR Stickers, but was rebranded with the launch of the Pixel 3 in October.
