Samsung’s Galaxy S10 lineup will be unveiled at a special Unpacked event on 20th February, going on preorder right away, before an on sale date of 8th March.
That’s the word from ‘a major tech retailer’ in the UK. Samsung has yet to respond to the claims and is unlikely to give such information much attention.
Those dates suggest that Samsung will reveal the device almost a week before Mobile World Congress in Barcelona. MWC starts on 25th February.
Such a move should allow Samsung to dominate the tech headlines and steal the thunder of rival handsets from the likes of Huawei and OnePlus.
The same insider who revealed the dates has also reiterated previous rumours that Samsung will reveal a trio of new devices with the S10 moniker. One standard model, a plus size version and one with a flat rather than curved screen. The latter will most likely be the Samsung Galaxy S10 Lite. The latter’s display will measure 5.8 inches.
All three devices will feature Samsung’s new Infinity O cutout screen, rather than a notch design, as well as in–screen fingerprint scanning smarts.
