Samsung’s Galaxy S10 Plus will not feature a quadruple lens main camera, despite a slew of rumours to the contrary.
That’s according to renowned Twitter tech tipster Ice Universe, whose Samsung predictions are generally spot on.
He reckons that the S10 Plus will actually feature a triple lens camera instead, with a dual lens front–facing effort.
It had been thought that Samsung would opt for four lenses for the S10 Plus, largely because its recently released mid tier Galaxy A9 features that very setup.
The two other S10 models, the standard S10 and S10 Lite, will pack a triple and dual lens main camera respectively, says Ice Universe.
In a separate report, an insider at a UK tech retailer has revealed that Samsung will hold a special S10 launch event on 20th February, with preorders going live on the same day. An on-sale date of 8th March has also been pencilled in by the Korean tech giant.
