YOUR HOME MAY BE REPOSSESSED IF YOU DO NOT KEEP UP REPAYMENTS ON YOUR MORTGAGE
Blemain Finance is a specialist lender. They are one of the few lenders willing to deal with clients who have non-standard income profiles and less than perfect credit histories. The company has been around for more than forty years and in that time has developed a broad range of different financial products. They are registered with the Finance and Leasing Association (FLA) and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority.
Whilst Blemain Finance does have a customer website where clients can make repayments and access customer service information, the company largely sells its products via brokers and intermediaries.
Buy to let mortgages are one of Blemain Finance’s main products. The company was one of the first lenders to offer buy to let finance and they currently have a wide selection of mortgages suited to first time landlords and experienced property investors.
Blemain Finance offer mortgages on property purchases, the opportunity to transfer an existing mortgage to one of their products, or second charge loans for landlords looking to raise further finance against an existing property.
Blemain Finance mortgages are available as interest only or capital repayment products. Customers do not necessarily need to be employed in order to qualify for a mortgage – other forms of income will be considered, including pensions, self-employed income and DWP benefits.
There are very few restrictions on the type of property that can be mortgaged with a property from Blemain Finance. Standard, including ex-local authority homes and flats, and non-standard constructions will be considered. The main criterion for buy to let Blemain Finance mortgages is affordability – income from a mortgaged property needs to cover a minimum of 120% of the loan repayments.
