Darlington Building Society is based in the North East and has branches in Darlington, County Durham, the Tees Valley and North Yorkshire. The society has been in operation for more than one hundred years and remains an independent mutual.

Darlington Building Society is very much a community society. They aim to provide a personal service for their customers and are proud to look after the interests of their members. Existing customers can apply for additional funds to help pay for home improvements, a holiday home, or anything else you need. Customers can borrow an additional 80% on the value of their home and repay the loan over the remaining term of their mortgage.

Commercial mortgages are also available from the Darlington Building Society. Darlington BS mortgages can be used to buy owner occupied businesses, for example hotels or restaurants, or commercial investment property.
