Sky has begun showing the entire James Bond series of movies in lush HD, on a channel dedicated to the none-more-British spy’s adventures.

All 22 movies – not including the just-released instalment Skyfall - are showing uninterrupted and sans ads on Sky Movies 007 HD and are available to view until November 4th.

Sky customers with a Sky Movies subscription can also get their dose of Bond on their smartphone, iPad or laptop via the Sky Go app or over the on-demand streaming service NOW TV.

Ian Lewis, Director of Sky Movies, said: "We are simply delighted to have secured the Bond films for our customers.

"Everything about these films is iconic – whether it's the cars, the gadgets or the catchphrases. What's more, they've become hugely significant culturally; demonstrating the best of British film.”

As well as all 007’s canonised movie appearances, the channel has also secured rights to show a behind-the-scenes documentary about Skyfall and will be hosting the UK premiere of made-for-US-TV movie Casino Royale starring Barry Nelson as Bond.
