BT Vision customers will now be able to watch British Eurosport, after BT inked the latest in a series of sports-related content deals.

Under the terms of the agreement, fixtures of British Eurosport and British Eurosport 2’s line-up such as the French Open, Australian Open and US Open tennis, the Tour de France, World Snooker, the Africa Cup of Nations and MotoGP will be added to BT’s pay-TV offering.

A range of on-demand sports broadcasts will also be available via catch-up.

Marc Watson, Chief Executive of BT Vision, said: “Eurosport has been a pioneer in providing sports fans with the best in live sports action for the last 20 years and is the number one pan-European sports channel.

“British Eurosport and British Eurosport 2 combine the best of Eurosport’s international sports coverage with a host of UK sports rights, including British Superbikes and snooker.”

Earlier this year, BT secured the rights to Premier League football for the first time ever after outbidding ESPN.

The broadband and home phone provider also signed a deal to air games from the Aviva Premiership of rugby union.
