The pick of Dave’s programming is now available on demand via the YouView player, offering BT and TalkTalk customers the option to catch up on the likes of Storage Hunters, Red Dwarf X, Russell Brand's Opinionated and Not Going Out.

The station’s output, which also includes Russell Howard’s Good News, Bush Pilots, Frank Skinner’s Opinionated and Jo Brand’s Big Splash, is available through a branded Dave player or through YouView’s seven-day electronic program guide (EPG).

A seven-day catch up service is also due later this year for Yesterday and Really through YouView, presumably also through branded players.

After what seemed a troubled, lengthy gestation, YouView appears to be finding its feet in recent months.

That impression was compounded by TalkTalk’s announcement that it added 150,00 YouView customers in the first quarter of the year, swelling TalkTalk TV’s subscriber base to 230,000
