Film4 and E4 have been added to Sky’s TV-on-the-move service, bringing the total tally of channels available to 49.

The launch of the two channels through the mobile TV service brings with it the likes of Peep Show, Misfits and Black Books. Alas the seemingly centuries-worth of series of Friends that once seemed to make up so much of E4’s schedule were yanked off air back in 2011, so you'll just have to make do without your daily dose of smug ensemble comedy.

Free-to-subscribers Sky Go is available on the iPhone and select Android devices via apps and on laptops and the Xbox 360.

Other channels that can be accessed through Sky Go include Sky Atlantic, Sky Living, Fox, Syfy and the Disney Channel.

Customers can upgrade to Sky Go Extra for £5 per month. This doubles the number of devices that can be registered for the service from two to four and enables subscribers to download shows to watch offline.
