Mad Men series 7

Photos of the next series of 'Mad Men' have been released. While creator Matthew Weiner is notoriously secretive about the show, the snaps tantalisingly hint at what we can expect from the seventh and final series.

All three photos show the characters either at an airport or on a plane. Last week, a preview showed Don Draper disembarking from an aeroplane, which suggests the characters are taking a trip, or maybe even relocating.

In one photo, we see Don and Megan looking pensive outside an airport while a porter takes care of their luggage. Megan left the last episode of series six in a huff, prompting speculation that she wouldn't return. But here she is.

In another, Don and Peggy sit back to back in the airport departure terminal. Don is reading a copy of The New York Times, which suggests he's still based there. Or maybe he's pining for the old place.

The last photo sees Don and Roger Sterling onboard a plane.

These photos ask more questions than they answer – where are all the characters going? Is it a business trip? Or has the whole office relocated?

Thankfully, it's not long before we find out – the seventh series starts on April 13th in the US, and will be show on Sky Atlantic here in the UK starting on April 16th.

The second half of series seven will be broadcast in 2015.
