Virgin Media has launched a dedicated Eurosport app for customers of its TiVo service.

The app arrived just in time for the French Open, which started on Sunday and lasts until 8 June.

It means all customers of Virgin Media's TiVo service will be able to access additional sports coverage from Eurosport. Extras include daily highlight video clips, alongside live coverage on the channels British Eurosport and British Eurosport 2.

Other extras include news and interviews from the Eurosport UK website, spanning a range of sports including football, rugby, tennis, cycling, and motor sports.

To access the app, just press the red button. Or you can find it in the Apps and Games menu.

Scott Kewley, director of digital entertainment at Virgin Media, said in a statement: "We are excited to be the home of all this summer's live sporting action. With even more great sport from Eurosport, we are delivering an unrivalled viewing experience for avid sports fans and the whole family to enjoy."

Earlier this month, Virgin Media extended its deal with BSkyB to offer Sky Sports channels to its customers for another five years. The deal was a blow for BT, as it made Virgin Media the only provider to offer every live HD sports channel.
