Dave on Demand and Really are being rolled into a single service called UKTV Play, which will hit iOS devices, the PC and YouView in a soft launch over the summer.
The service will replace the Dave on Demand mobile app, as well as Dave and Really catch-up players on YouView.
The app and channel will let viewers stream and watch shows like 'Storage Hunters', 'Crackanory', 'Alan Davies: As Yet Untitled', and 'Dara O Briain: School of Hard Sums'.
Darren Childs, UKTV chief executive, said in a statement: "UKTV Play will be as easy as switching on your TV.
"We will curate content by topics and events, so UKTV Play will take away the difficulty that some viewers find with video on demand: choosing what it is they want to watch."
UKTV will arrange shows by topic and real-life events, and will feature staff picks, box sets, and advance previews of new programmes.
Dan Fahy, UKTV's director of commercial & business development, said in a statement: "We've launched UKTV Play because our data shows our viewers will find more programming and engage with our channels more regularly if they have a single destination for on-demand viewing.
"UKTV Play has been created specifically to cater for our viewers' needs. It is an exciting new destination where they can find and watch programming from our different channels in a very east and convenient way."
It will feature swipe channel selection, stop-and-resume viewing, predictive search, an alphabetical browser, and parental controls.
