ITV Sky Go

Sky Go has added ITV channels to its roster. ITV, ITV2, ITV3, ITV4, and CITV are now available via the service.

ITV Encore, the broadcaster's drama channel, will also be available on Sky Go when it launches on June 9. ITV Encore will broadcast dramas live and on-demand, including 'Whitechapel', 'Broadchurch', and 'Downton Abbey'.

ITV has timed it well. It means Sky subscribers will be able to watch England's World Cup matches on June 19 and 24 on their mobile using the service.

A host of other ITV content will also be available, with on-demand shows from all ITV channels arriving later in the year.

This bolsters Sky Go's selection to 63 channels. E!, Home and Lifetime are also set to join Sky Go this summer.

"We are really excited to offer ITV channels on Sky Go as we know there can be a fight for the remote when a big summer of sport kicks off," Luke Bradley-Jones, Sky's brand director of TV products, said in a statement.

"Whether people want to catch the football – or take refuge from it – this gives our customers even more flexibility to enjoy the TV they love, on their terms."

Sky Go will also come to the PS4 console later this year, Sony recently confirmed.
