Now TV now supports devices running Windows 8.1. This brings the number of compatible devices to 60.

That means you won't miss out on Sky's Christmas movie selection, which includes 'Frozen', 'Elf' and 'Home Alone'.

Compatible Windows 8.1 devices include laptops, tablets and PCs.

Now TV is a subscription-free streaming service that gives you access to numerous channels and services like BBC iPlayer. It also lets you buy daily, weekly or monthly subscriptions to entertainment, sport and movie channels. There's no commitment though, so you could subscribe to the movie channels for December, and not renew it in January.

The Entertainment Pass costs £6.99 a month, the Movies Pass is £9.99 a month, and the Sports Pass is currently £6.99 a day, or £10.99 a week. Though the price of the Sports Pass will go up in March.

The Now TV Box costs just £10, which is absurdly good value. Even if you don't pay extra for the film, sport and entertainment channels, it's the easiest way to get iPlayer on your telly.
