about a boy

The second series of 'About a Boy' will start on Sky1 on February 22nd at 6pm, Sky has announced.

The series is based on the Nick Hornby book, and the 2002 Hugh Grant film of the same name.

It follows a bachelor with arrested development named Will as he gets to grips with adult life after meeting single mum Fiona and her young son Marcus.

Will was played by Hugh Grant in the film, and by David Walton in the series. Minnie Driver plays Fiona (Toni Collette took the role in the film) while Benjamin Stockham plays Marcus (Nicholas Hoult played him in the film).

Unlike the film and the book, the TV series is set in the US.

The first episode of the second series sees Will in a financial crisis. He returns to San Francisco where Marcus has made new friends and Andy (Al Madrigal) has a crisis of his own brewing.
