Owners of the Google Chromecast streaming dongle can snap up three months of free access to Now TV's Entertainment Pass.

The offer provides access to Sky1, Sky Atlantic, Sky Living and Sky Arts, which usually cost £6.99 a month via Now TV.

Now TV has been available on Chromecast since September. Like TalkTalk TV, it lets you buy temporary subscriptions to packages of channels as and when.

Google is going big on time-limited, promotional offers right now.

It will also gift you a free movie rental worth £5 from Google Play, or unlimited music from Google Play Music for 90 days when you buy a Chromecast.

The latter deal applies to Ireland too.

Chromecast is a streaming dongle that plugs into your telly, effectively making it a smart TV. It too is offered as a perk, for example by Fuel broadband.

Using the Chromecast Android app, friends can beam content to your telly without having to jump on your Wi-Fi network. Just enable Guest Mode, and they're in.
