'House of Cards' series three only premiered on Friday, and already Netflix has lined up another new series to binge on. 'Orange is the New Black' series three will air on June 12th. Mark it in your diaries.
The series is another homegrown by Netflix. The comedy follows a character called Piper Chapman (played by Taylor Schilling) who is sentenced to 15 months in prison for the decade-old offence of transporting money for her drug-dealing girlfriend.
It also stars Laura Prepon and Uzo Aduba.
Series three will consist of 14 episodes, which is one more than the previous two seasons.
Netflix also announced some other new series heading its way in the summer. 'Sense8' is from the Wachowski brothers – creators of 'The Matrix' – and stars Tuppence Middleton, Brian J Smith, Doona Bae and Aml Ameen as sensates – strangers who are mentally and emotionally connected after a tragic death.
It airs on June 5th.
Before that, 'Between' tells the story of a pregnant teenager, and a disease that kills everyone over the age of 21. It lands on Netflix in May. While 'Wet Hot Summer: First Days of Camp' airs on July 17th.
Comedy specials coming our way this summer include 'Chris D'Eglia: Incorrigible' (April 17th), and 'Jen Kirkman: I'm Gonna Die Alone (And I feel Fine)' (May 22nd).
Nina Simone documentary 'What Happened Miss Simone' will air on June 26th.
