US legal thriller 'Reckless' is coming to the UK. The steamy CBS drama will premiere on digital channel Alibi on Friday April 10th.
The series stars Anna Wood ('Mad Men') as Jamie Sawyer, a lawyer originally from Chicago who's relocated to Charleston in South Carolina. She's hired by ex-cop Lee Anne Marcus (Georgina Haig) who wants to sue the police, who fired her for sending photos of herself using its email account.
During the investigation, it emerges that multiple police officers may have had sex with a fellow officer who has no recollection of the night in question, and was probably drugged.
It also stars Cam Gigandet ('Twilight') as Roy Rayder, the newly-appointed city attorney, Michael Gladis, Kim Wayans and Gregory Harrison.
The series focusses on the relationship between Rayder and Sawyer.
It was created by Dana Stevens ('Safe Haven', 'Life or Something Like It'), with episodes directed by John Gray, Michael Apted and Joshua Butler.
Alibi is its natural UK home; the channel specialises in crime dramas. It started life as UK Arena, then was renamed UK Drama, UKTV Drama, and finally Alibi in 2008 when its remit was narrowed to crime dramas.
