Aaron Paul – aka Breaking Bad's Jesse Pinkman – is teaming up with his former-colleague on the show Mark Johnson to work on a new film.

The movie will be called 'The Parts You Lose', and will focus on an injured criminal trying to escape the law.

While doing so, he meets an eight-year-old boy with impaired hearing in a small North Dakota town and the pair form an unlikely friendship.

The feature will be written by Darren Lemke ('Jack the Giant Slayer') and will be directed by Paula van der Oest ('Accused').

It will start filming in the last three months of this year and will be executive produced by Kirk D'Amico and Emily Alden.

"This extraordinarily original script really caught our attention," D'Amicio said.

"We are so pleased with such a strong production team headed by Mark Johnson and Tom Williams, and with director Paula van der Oest, who will bring her unique vision to this film."

Johnson also served as executive producer on 'Better Call Saul', the prequel to 'Breaking Bad'.
