game of thrones series four

Winter is coming... and so are seasons one to four of 'Game of Thrones' on TalkTalk TV, with the news that HBO's hit fantasy drama will be available to watch on-demand on your telly or on your mobile device using TalkTalk's TV2Go app.

However, there's no word on whether the service will offer series five, which is currently airing on Monday nights on Sky Atlantic.

There's also no word on pricing, though it could be similar to Blinkbox's pricing for the show.

TalkTalk bought Blinkbox – which was previously owned by Tesco – earlier this year.

Blinkbox offers episodes of 'Game of Thrones' for £1.89 a go in standard definition or £2.49 in 720p HD.

If you want a whole season, it'll cost you £16.99 in SD or £22.99 in HD.

The fifth season has been a hit, notching up record viewing figures. But it's also popular with pirates and was recently named the most illegally downloaded TV show of all time.

The show is based on the novels by George RR Martin. These are yet to be completed by the author, but intriguingly this season has diverged from the plot of the books somewhat.

One HBO exec said he thought the show could run for 10 seasons, but the showrunners think differently – they said recently that it's "heading into the home stretch", suggesting the end is in sight.
