virgin media tivo no brand

You can now stream downloaded films from your online locker using Virgin Media's Cloud service.

The revamped service bestows you with 5GB of free cloud storage, which you can fill with whatever you like. You can upload files from your desktop, phone or tablet.

The service also has a new look and feel, with the branding now in keeping with TiVo's colour scheme. The Virgin Media Cloud app is now available on Windows Phone too, as well as iOS, Android, PC and Mac.

"We built our Virgin Media Cloud app from the ground up so customers can show off their pictures, videos and playlists through TiVo as easily as changing channel," said Aarne Aho, executive director at Virgin Media.

If you want more than 5GB, you'll have to pay. £3.99 a month gets you 50GB, and £5.99 a month gets you 100GB. Pay £13.99 per month and you'll get 250GB, or get 500GB for £26.99 per month.

To get Virgin Media Cloud on your TV, press Home on the remote > Apps and Games> All Apps > Virgin Media Cloud. Enter your login details, and you're away.
