Ashton Kutcher is coming to Netflix in a new comedy. Called 'The Ranch', it stars Kutcher as a former professional American football player who comes home to Colorado to help run the family business.
It will also star Danny Masterson, and will be produced by Don Reo and Jim Patterson, who worked with Kutcher on the hit series 'Two and a Half Men'.
It's not official yet, but Netflix is said to want to commission 20 episodes to air in two 10-episode batches next year.
Kutcher and Masterson previously worked together on 'That '70s Show', which ran from 1998 to 2006.
Netflix has commissioned a raft of original programming in recent years, including hit series 'Breaking Bad', 'Orange is the New Black' and 'House of Cards'. It's also branching out into feature films, the first of which will be released next year.
The streaming service will launch in Italy, Spain and Portugal in October, and hopes to be in more than 200 countries by the end of next year. Quite a tall order, though maybe not, considering how fast the firm has expanded in recent years.
