A new show is coming to Sky 1 that will see YouTube stars team up with OAPs in a social experiment about the internet.

'Onliners & Oldtimers' will see young internet-savvy people introduce the internet to people over the age of 65 to see how they get on. But it's not a snarky, 'look-how-little-they-know' series. Rather, it's described as "funny, heartwarming and revelatory".

It hopes to help OAPs connect with a life beyond their own. The millennials, meanwhile, might have their lives enriched by spending time with members of a generation who have never used the internet.

As the official description puts it: "These unions will form an eye-opening social experiment – what can the old learn from the young about how to make themselves heard in the 21st century and what will the young learn from the old about life beyond the virtual?"

It will be voiced by Julie Walters and feature YouTuber stars like Niki & Sammy and Roman Kemp.

The six-part series will air on Sky 1 in July.
