The second series of the Halle Berry vehicle 'Extant' is now available on Amazon Prime Instant Video. Well, the first episode is anyway.

Like the first season, Amazon has exclusive rights to show the sci-fi drama in the UK, with a new episode set to land every Thursday. Just like regular broadcast TV.

So if you want to binge-watch the whole lot in one go, you're out of luck. You'll have to wait until the end of the series.

"Last summer, 'Extant' broke records on our service, quickly becoming one of the most-watched premieres in our history," said Chris Bird, film and TV strategy director at Amazon Prime Instant Video.

"We're delighted to be able to bring the next instalment of this star-studded suspense thriller to UK fans."

The show is also available in 4K at no extra cost. Though you'll need a decent broadband connection and a 4K-capable TV to see the benefit.
