From gangsters with dementia to toys with a serious rivalry, this is what to watch right now.
The Fear Scottish actor Peter Mullan takes the lead role as Brighton gangster Richie Beckett, in this gritty drama. Beckett is a crime kingpin who's struggling with dementia, and at the same time, trying to keep his empire going. It's gripping stuff as Beckett's life spirals out of control, and writer Richard Cottan manages to resist every gangster cliche going. In what other crime series would you hear the kingpin say: "I just want a cuddle"?
The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 1 It might not have quite the same pace as 'Catching Fire', but this is another fine instalment in 'The Hunger Games' series. Jennifer Lawrence is ably supported by screen legends Donald Sutherland and Philip Seymour Hoffman in one of his last roles. The plot sees the home of Katniss (Lawrence) reduced to rubble, and a secret rebellion spreading through all of Panem.
Toy Story The original film and its sequel arrive on Netflix just days apart ('Toy Story 2' is available from Friday). The first film is now 20 years old, but still looks as fresh and vibrant as when it first hit the big screen. Woody (voiced by Tom Hanks) has his position as Andy's favourite toy threatened by the arrival of brash newcomer Buzz Lightyear (Tim Allen). Fun for all the family.
