Films about overcoming racial injustice, a rom-com and a crime thriller are all on the way.

Jackie Robinson became the first African-American to compete in Major League Baseball, and this is his life story.

Director Brian Helgeland ('L.A. Confidential') handles the action with aplomb, and Harrison Ford co-stars. But Chadwick Boseman steals the show as Jackie Robinson. Available from Sunday.

Going the Distance

This romantic comedy has a realistic premise: Erin (Drew Barrymore) meets Garrett (Justin Long) and they fall in love. When she goes back to San Francisco, they start a long-distance relationship.

With both of them set on making it work, who'll give up their job and move? Available from Tuesday.

The Town

Ben Affleck's directorial debut is a blue-collar crime thriller set in Charlestown in Boston. But it's also a love story.

Affleck stars alongside Rebecca Hall, Jon Hamm, Jeremy Renener, Blake Lively and Pete Postlethwaite. It paved the way for Affleck's Oscar-winning 'Argo'. Available from Tuesday.
