tv from sky xbox one

Sky has come to the Xbox One. The broadcaster has launched its TV From Sky app on the One, so providing you're a Sky customer you can now watch all your favourite channels on your Microsoft console.

You'll need either Sky Go Extra or Sky Multiscreen to get on board. Sky Go Extra costs an extra fiver a month, but you can sign up to a two-month free trial.

The app is available to download now through Xbox Live. It came to rival console Sony's PlayStation 4 about a year ago, so Microsoft is a fair way behind its rival.

"We're really excited to add Xbox One to our line-up of supported devices," said Luke Bradley-Jones, brand director of Sky TV.

"Xbox One customers can now watch the latest from Sky TV with our big winter line-up including 'The Last Panthers', 'Fungus the Bogeyman' and 'Scandal' – there's something for everyone to enjoy."

Harvey Eagle, UK marketing director for Xbox, added: "Sky Player on Xbox 360 remains one of the most popular apps with our fans, so we're delighted to bring TV From Sky to Xbox One owners in the UK."
