Apple has issued a software update for the Apple TV, bringing podcasts to it for the first time.
The streaming box now supports Apple's Podcasts app.
The update is called tvOS 9.1.1. Apple launched it early this week.
The app syncs to your iTunes subscription, so you should see podcasts pop up in the menu, providing you're watching using the same Apple ID. You can also find podcasts in the list of categories in the menu.
If your box is yet to update, head to the Software Update section (you'll find it in the System Settings menu) and give it a nudge.
It will also give you some security and performance updates, but if you want more new features, you'll have to wait for tvOS 9.2. But there might not be long to wait.
Apple has already released the tvOS 9.2 beta for developers, so they can test it before us Joe public get our hands on it. It brings support for Bluetooth keyboards and app folders just like you find on your iPhone and iPad. Look out for it in the coming weeks.
