Netflix has started casting its upcoming TV show 'A Series of Unfortunate Events'.
It's just announced two child actors who will star in the show. Malina Weissman (who played Young Kara in 'Supergirl') will play Violet. Newcomer Louis Hynes will play Klaus.
The show is based on the books of the same name by Daniel Handler (under the pen name Lemony Snicket). It follows the three Baudelaire orphans (played by the above actors and one as-yet unannounced) as they try to find out the truth behind the mysterious circumstances surrounding their parents' deaths.
Neil Patrick Harris (Doogie Howser himself) is said to be taking the starring role as the villain, Count Olaf.
In other Netflix news, the streaming service is losing 'Doctor Who' in the US, but us Brits will still be able to watch it on Netflix UK. Which is a rare case of American Netflix viewers having less to choose from than their British counterparts.
